
Welcome! My name is Christopher J. Devine, and I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Dayton. I earned my Ph.D. from The Ohio State University (2011), with a major in American Politics and a minor in Political Psychology. My research and teaching focuses on campaigns and elections, political parties, public opinion, and the U.S. presidency.
I am also the co-author of Do Running Mates Matter? The Influence of Vice Presidential Candidates in Presidential Elections (University Press of Kansas, 2020).
